Hey peeps, here it is, update number two. You can describe this month as being a slow one in terms of individual milestones or accolades being met but be rest assured, I probably worked harder this month than any other month this year. The “theme” for last month was finding my feet. I was still transitioning to web3 from the projects that I was involved in, to the communities I was a part of. Now the transition is nearly complete the constant theme for the last four weeks was laying the foundations to springboard my next wave of projects, activities and community involvement.
Let’s dive into it.
Month In Retrospect
- I have now reached the end of my diversity and inclusion engagement with UCL via arkisites. For full transparency, I am probably going to wind it down to focus on early.fans and other web3 projects. It was a rewarding journey in which I learned a lot (especially about community building) and will apply these lessons to early.fans.
- I was accepted into Launch House a social club for founders, engineers and investors united by the central belief that the purpose of life is to build things with your friends that make the world a better place. As a member, I will have access to the retreats, programmes, people network and perks. This will be incredibly valuable to early.fans
- We have started raising for our pre-seed round for early.fans. If you are interested in getting involved shoot me a message on Twitter or swing me an email (e@earlyfans.io) → this doesn’t apply to you if you are part of the $ENIOLA 1K Club.
- $ENIOLA holders have voted to send me to New York City for a month, more details about this will follow later.
- early.fans early access mint page and smart contract is finished and should go live next month.
Biggest Lessons
- I am coming to the realisation that the team at early.fans are not just building a great product that has the potential to generate lots of revenue. But, we are building a product that not only is useful but can transform the lives of independent artists. Let’s take away the business case, for now, what we are building can play a part in the transformation of the creator and ownership economies in music and other sectors as well. When the wind slows down, the dust settles and adoption is widespread what companies, projects and individuals will stand tall? Those that added immense value → that will ultimately be our pride and joy.
- Describing myself as crypto-native may be a bit of a reach since I joined the space not too long ago. Some $ENIOLA holders have been involved in the space as early as 2017. Despite this, I found to have more insight into web3 than a lot of my peers and individuals in the U.K. I always doubted the amount of value that I thought I could offer to others but this has stopped now (this will be relevant in the next section). To quote CryptoJoe… “I am the [expletive] GOAT!”

Final Words…
If you asked me in January what my timeline was for getting early.fans to the MVP stage and raising I would’ve told you by the end of March. Obviously, that timeline hasn’t been kept to. This to me isn’t a bad thing, you could argue that I underestimated the scale and complexity of what we are trying to achieve. Irrespective, there is value in laying strong foundations. I am even more confident now than ever before that we are building something that will add immense value.
